USCIS reports the FY 2023 H-1B cap electronic registration process yielded 483,927 H-1B registrations, an increase of approximately 57% compared with FY 2022 which saw 308,613 H-1B cap registrations.

For FY 2023, USCIS selected 127,600 registrations in the initial selection process, or approximately 26% of the total registrations.  For FY 2022, USCIS conducted three rounds of H-1B registration selections resulting in a total of 131,970 selected registrations.
